RICCARDO MARCHESE
DRUMMER AND COMPOSER
Born in 1997 in Casale Monferrato (ITALY), I began my musical journey with drum lessons at the age of 10. After studying film scoring in Milan and participating, with a full scholarship, in the “Berklee Five Week Program” in 2019, I graduated in jazz drums and percussion from Siena Jazz University. Notably, I completed my studies with Maxx Furian, earning the highest marks and
honors at the NAM School in Milan.
SESSION MUSICIAN
Since 2012, I have collaborated with dozens of artists both in studio and live, navigating through various musical genres. In the Jazz realm I shared the stage with musicians like Scott Hamilton, Ralph Alessi, Maurizio Giammarco, Emanuele Cisi and many more. In the pop-rock world I’ve worked with artists like Bernardo Lanzetti, Vittorio De Scalzi, Roberto Tiranti and Maurizio
Vandelli.
COMPOSER
Driven by a fervent passion for cinema, I graduated with honors in Film Scoring at the prestigious “Scuola Civica di Musica Classica Claudio Abbado” in Milan. Since then I wrote soundtracks for Animated Films, Short films, Commercials and Movies. In 2021 I composed the official soundtrack for “Traces of Madness”, a Swiss movie released in selected theaters in 2022.
